KEAM is Kerala's state entrance for engineering, conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Since 2024 it has been a computer-based test, held over several days with normalisation across sessions.
Pharmacy (B.Pharm) aspirants take a separate Physics and Chemistry paper, and medical and architecture admissions go through NEET-UG and NATA respectively.

Each correct answer earns 4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1. The syllabus is the Kerala Higher Secondary (Plus One and Plus Two) syllabus.
