Frequently asked questions

How many exams can I prepare for on ExamguruX?

ExamguruX covers 23+ competitive exams across nine categories — government, engineering, medical, MBA, banking, railway, international admissions, English proficiency and professional certification. 18 of them have a fully-built hub with authored mock tests, topic tests, syllabus, eligibility, cut-offs and post/college guidance, and more are added every month.

Are the mock tests really on the official exam pattern?

Yes. Every test mirrors the current blueprint for its exam — question count, section order, marking scheme, negative marking and duration. For example, NEET runs 180 questions with +4/−1 marking, RRB Group D runs a 100-question CBT with 1/3 negative marking, and TNPSC papers are bilingual with no negative marking. Each exam page shows the date it was last updated.

Which languages are the tests available in?

It depends on the exam. TNPSC papers are bilingual in Tamil and English, and the railway RRB exams are offered in English and Hindi (with more of the 15 official languages being added). You can switch language inside the test player at any time; the interface and solutions follow your choice.

Do I need to pay to start practising?

No. Every exam gives you free full-length and topic tests to start with, complete with instant scoring and step-by-step solutions. A Pro or All-Access plan unlocks the full mock library, all languages, and detailed performance analytics — but you can rank-test yourself for free first.

How should I choose the right exam to prepare for?

Start from your qualification and career goal. Class 10/12 pass candidates often begin with RRB Group D/NTPC, SSC or TNPSC Group 4; graduates target UPSC, TNPSC Group 1/2, banking or GATE; medical and engineering aspirants take NEET and JEE; and study-abroad candidates take IELTS, TOEFL or the Digital SAT. Each category page below explains the exams, eligibility and typical timelines in detail.
